I am 41 years old, married, and have a degree in Marketing. I live for my passions, am communicative, and love a good joke. I am stubborn, dedicated, and demanding. I love traveling and nature, and I enjoy riding motorcycles – it was my lifestyle, wasn't it yours?
I highly value human relationships and am passionate about good times with friends. My roots are from Minho, and one day I dreamed of having a place that brought all of this together.
I wish all our visitors a unique experience.
Born in the 1970s and educated at the Higher Institute of Educational Sciences, those who know Elisabete say that humor and generosity are constant in her life.
She has a large family, both by blood and by choice. She loves a good gathering, and if her guests feel good, so does she, just as with her visitors.
Energy, courage, hard work, and dedication are her fundamental pillars for wanting to do more and better.
The Casa da Pausa project initially emerged from a deep passion for the Serra do Gerês.
An interior Portugal, hidden with so much beauty and intensity in its customs. A nature that is both rural and enchanting.
There were many visits that captivated the creators.
We have the Albufeira de Vilarinho das Furnas, the Pedra Bela viewpoint, the village of Brufe, the village of Pitões das Júnias, the Albufeira da Caniçada, the lagoons on the Rio Homem, and many others that intensified the desire to have a little piece of heaven there, of that heaven.
It became a dream to build or reconstruct a place where time could stop and only green would be the landscape.
It was in 2019 that the search for what would be the dream location began, and it was in 2020 that it came true! Just 20 minutes from Albufeira da Caniçada and close to all the places where the creators were happy, it is in Vila Verde in Lugar do Outeiro that they found the perfect spot. So close ... and yet so far from everything.
In the midst of it all, the desire to share emerged. What if other people with the same tastes and desires could also enjoy it? And thus, the Casa da Pausa project was born.
It was the collection of green landscapes that gave this village its name. Vila Verde is a stop on the Camino de Santiago, marked by historical monuments, excellent Minho cuisine, and its traditional crafts, such as Linen and Lover's Handkerchiefs. Casa da Pausa is located in the municipality of Vila Verde, but very close to Terras de Bouro and the Peneda Gerês National Park.
